Online Fundraising

There are two very simple ways that you can raise funds for the church in Somersham, just by being online.

easysearch If you search for things online (and if you are reading this you probably do!)  then consider using Easysearch rather than (or as well as) one of the mainstream search engines.  Each time you search using this search engine,  they donate 0.5p to church funds.   Doesn’t sound much but it you’re curious like me and search for things a lot it will soon add up.   Why not make this your default search engine?    If you don’t know how to do this drop me an email and I’ll see what I can do to help.

If you go so far as to actually shop online then you can raise even more money by using easyfundrasing.

easyfundInstead of going directly to a retailer’s website, go to easyfundraising first and choose the retailer you want to shop with – then everything you spend with that retailer earns a free donation for St John the Baptist Church – Somersham.  It’s completely free to use and your shopping won’t cost you any more than it would have done. On average, each retailer will donate 5% of the cost of your shopping – and those donations soon mount up. There are lots of  stores to chose from including most of the household names like John Lewis, Tesco, Asda and Apple and, interestingly, Amazon.   My guess is that you could pretty much buy anything you like using this route.    As well as stores there are travel links,  hotel booking,  insurance services,  even electricity and gas suppliers.

You have to register first for this, but that’s a small price to pay for the amount of money that we could potentially raise to help our church to thrive.
